The surface treatment of rubber products offers numerous advantages, particularly in highly automated assembly line environments. These benefits include improved adhesion between rubber components, smoother feeding performance on vibration plates, reduced coefficient of friction, enhanced resistance to chemical corrosion and aging, and extended product lifespan.
Our company has recently launched the MC-4097 special coating, which cures at 75–80°C. It achieves a coefficient of friction of approximately 0.3, with a coating thickness exceeding 12 microns, and offers heat resistance in the range of 200–350°C. For applications requiring ultra-high temperature resistance, the MC-4071 topcoat can be applied over the MC-4097 base layer. This topcoat cures at room temperature and delivers heat resistance up to 1000°C, making it suitable for specialized use in automotive, aerospace, and other extreme environments.
